How is the Scheme administered?
CRC is a UK-wide scheme. The Environment Agency will undertake the role of scheme administrator for registration, running CRC on-line registry and selling allowances on behalf of the government, for
the whole of the UK.

When does CRC start?
CRC starts in April 2010. The scheme is divided into set time periods known as ‘phases’. Phase 1 is the introductory phase which runs from 1 April 2010 until 31 March 2013.
